Bugscoop
Bugscoop is a blog about the microscopic world and its outsized influence on life around us. I'm a microbiologist working in soil and plant-microbe systems, and I started this blog to explore something that fascinates me: how bacteria, fungi, and other microbes have shaped — and been shaped by — the animals, plants, and humans they live alongside. Each post starts with a piece of real, often surprising science, then follows the thread toward the bigger evolutionary story behind it. Expect posts on the smells microbes make, the behaviors they influence, and the partnerships that have quietly run life on Earth for billions of years.
